好米的故鄉
五結鄉位於蘭陽平原東方，東臨太平洋，北有蘭陽溪、南有冬山河貫穿全鄉，是一農業鄉鎮，農作以水稻為主，全鄉稻作栽培面積為1,100公頃，主要之栽種品種台梗八號、台南11號、台中秈十號，越光米、益全香米…等；灌溉水源均來自清潔、無工業污染之蘭陽溪及冬山河，為宜蘭縣第一個『稻米產銷專業區』。

Hometown of Good Rice
Wujie Township, situated in the eastern part of Lanyang Plain, facing the Pacific Ocean on the east, with the Lanyang River running through in the north, the Dongshan River in the South, is a farming township. The total area of rice cultivation is 1,100 hectares. The main species grown here are Taigeng No. 8, Tainan No. 11, Taichung Sen No. 10, Koshihikari rice, Yichuan fragrant rice, and so on. The sources of irrigation all come from the clean, industrial pollution free Lanyang River and Dongshan River. We are the first “professional area of rice production and marketing” in Yilan.
